Lecture at Furukawa Reimei High School in Miyagi Prefecture (3/19)

On Tuesday, March 19, a lecturer from Tohoku University was dispatched to Furukawa Reimei High School in Miyagi Prefecture to give a lecture as part of the “SS Exploration I Lecture” program. This lecture is one of the Super Science High School (SSH) projects, and its goal is to help students to connect their future exploration activities with their future career choices.

Assistant Professor Noriko Tsuruoka, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, introduced her research on medical and healthcare devices and also introduced the work and career of university faculty. Forty-four first-year high school students attended Assistant Professor Tsuruoka’s lecture.
During the Q&A session, they asked questions about the research being conducted at the College of Engineering, showing their high level of interest in the School of Engineering.
