We aim to be a school
Where women can shine
in the field of engineering
In order to realize a truly wealthy society, it is important to respect diversity and to utilize women’s contribution as a part of that diversity.
In FY2013, we established the Association of Leading Women Researchers in Engineering (ALicE) at the Tohoku University Graduate School for Engineering, working to realize a fine-tuned level of support for the field of engineering.* With the goal of realizing a society in which women can confidently pursue their careers in engineering, we are continuously implementing activities to support women in research and gender equality at the Graduate School of Engineering.
