Yui Takeda, a 4th year student of the School of Engineering, Tohoku University, won the Japan Student Triathlon Championship Watarase held on October 16, 2021.

For this achievement, she was awarded the Miyagi Sports Prize and the Sendai City Sports Prize in 2021.
